Al Doyle

Al Doyle is a Dublin singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, best known as a vocalist and guitarist with Empire Circus. His solo work creates space for a more individual strain of songwriting, balancing the immediacy of alternative and indie rock with carefully layered arrangements and an instinct for melody.

Doyle introduced the project in 2019 with the singles “Glass Animals” and “Bells & Whistles,” followed by his debut album, Fault Lines. He returned in 2024 with “Vision Before Midnight” and the Zero Nothing EP, extending a catalog that presents a distinct counterpart to his work with Empire Circus.
